Leca® is a highly durable lightweight aggregate, which is produced in the form of a round shaped hollow clay pellet with a ceramic resistant exterior skin and a porous, lightweight, interior nucleus. Simply put, Leca® is a super lightweight, inert and non-combustible aggregate.

Being totally inert with good drainage and aeration properties, 4-10mm Leca® is an important component in our range of Lightweight Green Roof Soils and Substrates where point loadings need to be reduced. Furthermore, Leca® contains no harmful substances or gases, provides insulation properties when added to soils and its longevity is estimated to be in excess of 100 years.

We also supply pure Leca® for use as an anti-compaction lightweight aggregate with good drainage and aeration properties for your landscaping and horticultural projects.
